Bio
Jim Blackwood joined the firm in 1997 and became a shareholder in 2004. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and oil and gas law. Jim is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He is a past member of the Mississippi Board of Bar Commissioners, and he was named one of Mississippi’s “Top 40 Under 40" by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2003. Jim has experience trying cases in state and federal court, as well as before the American Arbitration Association.
