Rebecca Blunden came to Mississippi in 1993 after graduating from Cornell University. After working for three years at the Stennis Space Center on Mississippi`s Gulf Coast, she began law school at the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, Rebecca was the caption of a moot court team that won a national championship, taught legal research and writing, wrote for the Sea Grant journal, and graduated cum laude.
In 1999, Rebecca joined the firm of Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush as a litigator. Since then, she has been successful at both the trial and appellate level in representing a variety of clients, including Mississippi Windstorm Underwriting Association, Mississippi Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company, and The Travelers Companies, Inc. Rebecca has also worked on a number of corporate issues, including advising Boards of Directors and drafting Requests for Proposals, contracts, and procedure manuals.
