Bio
Mrs. Milner is licensed to practice law in both Alabama and Mississippi. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of insurance defense and bad faith litigation. She has authored numerous coverage opinions and has represented insurers and their insureds in a wide variety of cases. Mrs. Milner also engages in a large amount of appellate work with victories at the Mississippi Court of Appeals, Mississippi Supreme Court and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Outside the office, Mrs. Milner is actively involved in the Defense Research Institute`s Insurance Law Committee. Through DRI, she has co-authored and contributed to articles and research projects concerning bad faith litigation and an insurer`s duty to defend. Locally, Mrs. Milner has been retained to speak to local insurance adjustors and attorneys concerning insurance coverage, the duty to defend and bad faith litigation in general. Mrs. Milner is admitted to all Mississippi Federal and state courts. She is also admitted to Alabama Supreme Court and Alabama`s Federal courts. Mrs. Milner is an active member of DRI, Mississippi Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association and the Madison and Hinds County respective Bar Associations.
