Bruce McKinley served as the Director of the Legal Department of the Mississippi Public Service Commission from 1988 until he joined Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush, P.A. He represents a variety of regulated and non-regulated utility companies including cellular and both fixed and mobile wireless high speed broadband service providers. Mr. McKinley is past President of the National Conference of Regulatory Attorneys and served thirteen years on the Staff Subcommittee on Law of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners. Mr. McKinley also represents clients in defending mass tort and other complex litigation claims including welding fume, silica, and asbestos. The welding fume Multi District Litigation Court has appointed him to a leadership role in that litigation. His experience includes litigation and appeals before the various state and federal courts as well as federal and state regulatory commissions and agencies including the Mississippi Public Service Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Security and Exchange Commission.
