Dale Shearer is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He represents individuals and legal entities in oil and gas, construction, insurance, software development, manufacturing, transportation, and other industries located in or doing business in Mississippi. He regularly advises clients in those industries as well as in banking and commercial real estate with respect to various commercial transactions and other business matters. His litigation experience includes trials in state and federal court in Mississippi, and special appearances in courts in Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas on behalf of firm clients. Mr. Shearer's administrative practice includes matters before the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board and the Mississippi Insurance Department. He has also spoken to and written papers for industry and other groups on oil and gas operating issues, Mississippi lien laws, construction bonds, state and federal constitutional law issues and other topics.

Mr. Shearer is currently a member of the International Board of Directors for The University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association, and also serves as a delegate to the Inter-Alumni Council for the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning. Past community board memberships include terms on the Board of Directors for the City of Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of Directors of The University of Southern Mississippi Foundation.
