Scott Jones was born on January 12, 1977 in San Diego, California. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee before attending Mississippi College where he received a degree in Marketing and Business Administration in 1999. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law, Mr. Jones worked for a Fortune 500 company in the technology sector as a pricing and revenue analyst.
 
While in law school, Mr. Jones served as the Chairman of the Moot Court Board and competed in several Moot Court competitions.  He received the best brief award in the Conrad B. Duberstain National Bankruptcy Competition in New York and advanced to the final argument in the competition.

Mr. Jones has successfully resolved disputes in state and fedeal court, practicing primarily in the areas of litigation, insurance, and intellectual property.  He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Mr. Jones is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association and the Jackson Young Lawyers.
