Mr. Thompson has over fifteen years of experience handling insurance coverage, contract and claims handling issues; bad faith litigation; personal injury, product liability and premises liability defense; and successfully handling appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court, the Mississippi Court of Appeals and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Thompson’s appellate practice has yielded numerous reported decisions in the areas of insurance coverage, product liability and civil procedure. His experience in insurance coverage has produced over 200 coverage opinions. He regularly advises some of the nation’s largest companies on insurance related matters and is a frequent speaker at seminars on litigation and insurance issues.
